Avoiding Piling On

Image result for piling on football

As easy as it is to pile on and keep going for the low hanging fruit ( NOT a gay pun ) of Scientology celebs acting crazy and making comments that sound like the rantings of a schizophrenic sub moronic imbecile - I really should not . I am well past the point in exit counseling where I should have compassion for these people and remember all their fame or wealth or luxury or beauty does not change that they - just like other cult victims - are VICTIMS .

I know they are not "enjoying " staff life or living in Sea Org orgs , or joining the Sea Org as I have . Or being a nobody at a local org toiling away thousands of hours in the course room . Donating what little money you can scrape up to pay for basic courses . And to say nothing of the RPF " private spiritual retreat " as Tommy Davis calls it .
Look, they are subject to thought reform and going around in deluded hallucinatory trances - for Tom Cruise it may be 24/7 -and deserve compassion . I have to admit at least some of the zeal to target them is for me my own frustration at being duped for 25 years , for denying the obvious evidence , for cruel , stupid , selfish , narcissistic and even evil actions I took while in the cult that can never be taken back . Projecting negative emotions onto acceptable targets as the only way to express them is a behavior Hubbard implanted in us for control of his slaves .

By having negative emotions projected onto enemies Hubbard had a way to release them and blame the targets - not his "technology" that was unworkable at removing the undesirable emotions . He conditioned us to cruelly and without compassion or humility to routinely project onto others and to " never regret our actions "and " never fear to hurt another in a just cause ". He always meant his cause. But even in a true just cause we should not follow Hubbard's path - I know better than most it is a dark one.

  1. I am digesting what you are expressing here even while my immediate emotional reaction is, " No! Fuck them!"
Those folks get special treatment and don't bother to question why that happens in a group that is supposedly the most ethical one on the planet-and that holds the ONLY hope for mankind as well!
    Sigh...

    1. I know it is frustrating but remember some of the feelings we exes have are about our own failure to see the truth and our own participation in the cult .

I am not trying to blame you but would be less than honest if i did not say this . Try to understand Hubbard made special methods to fool celebs and use more people and money to control the entire environment and information they get as they can give a lot of good press when in or a lot of bad press when out - and money too .

    2. You are right. Finally, the point is to learn from the cult experience...And one of the prime lessons is to feel genuine compassion for self and others and not project my own frustration/anger with my choices onto celebrities or anyone else still in that group.
